SOARING ON HIGH

I lie here ... softly nestled in the grass ... watching the clouds drift by and then you appear... soaring high up in the sky.

Are you showing off? You see me here watching ... And I know you like to play ... way high in the sky.

You dip ... and turn ... and climb so high. Only to change the way of your wing ... and drop ever so gently.

I thought I saw you smile .... am I imagining ... or just insane? I watch you dip your wing ... and turn ... and I hear your laughter.

Soaring on high ... and I am slowly ascending with your Spirit ... eager to glide along with you ... to follow you ... soaring high.

We dip ... and turn ... and our wings touch slightly. And I laugh ... for I can finally soar on high.
